Hey Andrews families! Here's a quick reminder about the checkout and absence policies to help your school run smoothly. 👇

When picking up your child early, checking them out, bring a written note, or email, signed by you when your child arrives at school that morning. The school will verify your identity before releasing your student, to make sure you're listed as an authorized contact!
🍽️📝𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬
Want to take your child to lunch? You must physically come to the main office to sign them out and return them before the lunch period ends. No phone calls or emails, are accepted for checkouts for lunch.
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝟐 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 from an absence 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞, or email, to excuse your child — or the absence becomes unexcused.
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 (𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬).
After 10 days absent, a doctor's note is required — parent notes won't be accepted.

After 6 unexcused absences, you may be asked to meet with the Early Intervention Team. After 10 unexcused absences, the courts may be notified.
