Principal, Dr. Sheryl Rogers

 

Dr. Rogers is a dedicated educator with a focus on educational leadership and curriculum development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and earned her teaching certification with additional coursework in elementary education.

She recently served as an assistant principal at Murphy High School.  Dr. Rogers is excited to become an "Andrews Wildcat," committed to promoting academic excellence and student success.

Dr. Rogers holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida. She has experience as an elementary principal, assistant principal, dean of students, and curriculum specialist. Additionally, she worked at the district level as the Director of Charter Schools and as an Administrative Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Dr. Rogers was selected for the 6th cohort of the Leaders Program with the National Association of Charter School Authorizers. This program brings together diverse visionaries to advance charter school authorizing and improve educational opportunities. Leaders explore their values, advance effective practices, and tackle challenges in a dynamic public education environment.

In her spare time, Dr. Rogers enjoys reading, hiking, exploring the countryside, and renovating homes. She is an avid traveler and finds inspiration from the diverse perspectives she encounters.
