Principal, Mr. Lance Bristol

As a native of Andrews, Lance Bristol’s roots run deep not only in the Andrews valley but also in the classrooms, corridors, and courts of Andrews High School, as both student and principal. Long before Lance Bristol became principal of Andrews High School, his life was immersed in education. It could be said education is in his blood as he followed in the esteemed footsteps of his grandmother, his mother and father, and his sister–all teachers. Having served as assistant principal, athletic director, classroom teacher, coach, and principal, Mr. Bristol has served Cherokee County Schools since 2006. His degrees, obtained from Western Carolina University and Grand Canyon University include a BS in physical education with a concentration in Political Science and a Master's in Educational Administration. Bristol’s educational background coupled with years of experience are matched only by the level of care and commitment he demonstrates toward his students, their families, and the community of Andrews. Lance Bristol proudly calls Andrews–all things Andrews–home.
