1973 or 1974 - Andrews High School Wildcat Band in its early days.
The band, known today as the Pride of the Valley Band, got its start in 1973. The director was Mary Byrd of Franklin, who was director up until around 1979.
As a program that was just starting up, the band had not yet purchased uniforms. The attire for the band was a red shirt and a pair of white pants.
