Girls Prepare
After their March 2nd win against Summit Charter, our Lady Cats are getting ready to face Robbinsville on March 5 for the 2026 NC Western Regional Championship. The game will be played at Lenoir-Rhyne University at 3 PM.
Andrews has previously gone against Robbinsville this season. Three winning games with the scores of 55-46, 58-33, and 51-48. Many predictions are being made about this fourth encounter. The girls will be sent off from Andrews High to Lenoir-Rhyne at around 8:30 AM on March 5.
This will be the first time since 1977 that our girls make it to regionals.
School Prepares
With the immense excitement going on at AHS, an idea was brought up. How about we take a field trip to Lenoir-Rhyne? This idea was brought to life on March 3. AHS will bus 40-50 student fans to Lenoir-Rhyne on March 5. The bus will leave at 9:30 AM.
This is a special opportunity for our school community, as this is a historical event in our athletics history. Fans can't wait to go! AHS will also invite community members to follow our bus to Lenoir-Rhyne, as sort of a "Fan Caravan". We hope for a great turnout for our Wildcats!
