Wildcat Central

September 15 - September 21

School Hours
AHS school day begins at 7:55 am and ends at 3:05 pm. Excessive tardies will result in ISS.  Please ensure your son or daughter is at school and on time.

New students
If you have new neighbors or know of any students who need to register at any of the Andrews Schools it is very important that they drop by and begin the registration process.

Home School Students
If you have friends or neighbors who currently home school their high school students but are considering having them attend AHS, we would love to include them in the registration process.  If they have questions about AHS or would like to attend the 8th grade dinner and registration workshops, they are welcome to join us.

Free and Reduced Lunch
Free and reduced lunch forms were mailed to students' home addresses.  They are also available at the Cherokee County School website.

Congratulations to Joslyn Parker, our 2014 AHS Teacher of the Year!

Thank You
A big thank you to the volunteers that helped ready the new stadium and decorate the hallways for the new school year! We appreciate your time and support.

Sign Sponsorships:  If your business would like to have a banner in the stadium for this year, please contact Robin Hughes at 321-5415 as soon as possible.  The signs hang in the Stadium in the fall, Gym in the winter and at the baseball and softball fields in the spring.

Plants:  AHS is continuing to beautify the campus.  As you are digging up or splitting plants this fall, please consider donating to AHS.  We will be planting things in the stadium and around the campus this fall. Just call for pick up or drop off at the office at AHS.

Storage Building: AHS is looking for a storage building.  If you have a medium size  (10’ x 20’) building that you would like to donate please contact Virginia Haynes at 321-5415.

Greenhouse Expert:  We are looking to finish off the greenhouse but we need some help.  If you know a lot about greenhouses and are willing to help get ours up and running please contact Virginia Haynes at 321-5415.  This greenhouse will be used in the spring by Horticulture Classes and Upper level Foods classes.

Books:  We are looking for additional copies of classic literature and modern young adult literature.  If you have finished the books and would like to donate them, just drop them off at AHS.  Titles include:
