ATTENTION PARENTS

Parent Portal
The new Parent Portal is up and running!  Now you can monitor your child's grades and attendance at your convenience. Contact the front office for more information or to receive your username and password.

School Hours
AHS school day begins at 7:55 am and ends at 3:05 pm. Excessive tardies will result in ISS.  Please ensure your son or daughter is at school and on time.

Lunch
Students cannot sign out of school for lunch.  Leaving for lunch is an infraction of Cherokee County Board Policy 4215 (see page 9 in your handbook).  Students leaving for lunch, or family/friends bringing food from restaurants to school, violates the guidelines for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program.

Lunch is provided daily at AHS and students are welcome to bring lunch from home, but there can be no outside commercial competition to the Free and Reduced Lunch Program.  Violation of this policy jeopardizes the Free and Reduced Lunch program for all students.

If students have appointments such as dentist or doctors scheduled during lunch, parents will need to come to AHS and sign their students out in person.

New students
If you have new neighbors or know of any students who need to register at any of the Andrews Schools it is very important that they drop by and begin the registration process.

Home School Students
If you have friends or neighbors who currently home school their high school students but are considering having them attend AHS, we would love to include them in the registration process.  If they have questions about AHS or would like to attend the 8th grade dinner and registration workshops, they are welcome to join us.

Parking Permit

All student vehicles parked at AHS must be registered and have a parking permit.

Congratulations
Virginia Haynes, Cherokee County Principal of the Year!
